Spring has sprung and there’s no time like the “Merry Month of May’ to beautify Roxborough Park by cleaning up and planting our community gardens and berms between the entry and the first mailbox pod. The Windflowers Garden Committee encourages Roxborough residents to work with us to prepare, plant, and maintain the gardens this spring and summer. Many hands working in our community gardens make light work PLUS this is a great opportunity to meet neighbors and learn ways to deal with the challenges of gardening with the clay soil, wind, turkeys, and deer! No prior experience is required! Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or just starting to sprout your gardening skills, this is the perfect opportunity to come together, share tips, and sow the seeds of community spirit.
